Hi, I’m Sai Nikhilesh Reddy, an Associate Machine Learning Scientist at Wadhwani AI working at the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence. As a machine learning specialist, I focus on developing robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications powered by Large Language Models. My expertise spans designing end-to-end data pipelines, building automated evaluation systems, creating synthetic data generation methods, and optimizing AI reliability while reducing manual overhead.

At Wadhwani AI, my work centers on developing Gen-AI tools that empower healthcare workers in their daily tasks. I collaborate with LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) on machine learning models for keratoplasty surgery risk assessment and implement innovative ways to leverage synthetic data for building trustworthy AI applications. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Amrita School of Computing, with a specialization in machine learning.

Outside of my professional work in ML systems, I maintain a keen interest in space technology developments, enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and regularly share insights about tech and AI on Twitter.
